Fantasic Sunday lunches here.. the Lamb is a favourite. Honestly don't know how the food is always so piping hot when they serve it and they don't stint on the gravy . Also they do a roaring trade in Takeway Sunday lunches - last time I was there I counted at least 60 being collected by customers.
Great place to eat ..Sunday lunches are very nice and generous portions ..I go there regularly

Thay still have some way to go. But this week I heard that they are going to close the pool for good.this is a big mistake. I and lots of friends have been members in the past. Very sad.
Seen some great rock tribute band's here. Frendly place always made to feel welcome. Long may it go on.

Went to see Santa on Sunday. Had afternoon tea. The amount and quality of the food was first class. However I was not impressed with the slates that were used as plates. Maybe its just my age. Would definitely recommend to anyone. Would also go back for more. X
Had a great welcome from the locals here. Only criticism was that the bar is too small for a band. Still had a good night and a dance

Booked up for twenty. Wife's birthday. Food was lovely. All served together all piping hot. It was a Sunday and about half had the roast dinner it was fantastic. The rest had different things and all enjoyed. Took our own birthday cake and they brought it out when we asked. Atmosphere was brilliant. Excellent effort all round. Booked for Xmas dinner.
Food and atmosphere fab wide choice my sirloin was perfectly cooked and my mango and brie parcels were just exquisite x

The food is hot and tasty. I tend to stick to the carvery but the rest of the menu does look good. The carvery always wins. The place is clean and tidy and the staff friendly and helpful. In my opinion its not somewhere to take someone on a date but more of a mid afternoon bite to eat kinda place.
Since the name change and other general changes I'm not impressed. Been up 4 or 5 times and 3 of the times we had problems. Kids still like to go cos they like the carvery. When the food is right it's good. They really do need more floor staff but the staff they have work hard and are courteous and helpful. Soft drinks prices comparable to alcohol which is a shame.
